I am a die-hard Marvel fan, but there is something which I can’t like in Captain Marvel. It looks like Marvel Studios can’t handle the fame of Diana Prince. I don’t blame you, marvel. Gal Gadot is beyond doubt beautiful. And that’s why they made some unacceptable changes to Captain marvel.
But I believe that makes the original Captain Marvel cooler.
So I saw the movie and found that there are many things to learn from Shazam.
The starting of the story itself tells us about the mother who lost her child. Her life and failed marriage teach us a bit about marriage and finance. Being a single teenage mother increased the risk for herself and her child. There may be many adolescent mothers living in the same situation, and all of them need some help from society and the government in the form of social security. I am not saying it is forever but for some time because A financially strong nation starts from a Strong family.
The next lesson I found is the seven deadly sins—trapped in the rock of eternity temple by the shazam. They killed the other six wizards. It perfectly fits with the concepts of Personal finance. So I found seven deadly sins of personal finance. I think I can write a different post on them this month itself, so I will not write in detail.
The difference between Dr silvana and Billy Batson is that one was not vulnerable to the seven deadly sins. That is the superpower in itself. Billy Batson, even though coming from an atmosphere where the family has not existed. His mother let him go due to her situation. But Seven deadly sins failed to make him vulnerable.
Dr. Sivana has attracted them. They started to control what he thought as his power was, in fact, a mirage. In real life, we all make mistakes. Making a mistake is not wrong. But not learning from them and making the same mistake is terrible. While typing this, I remember My Investing mistakes. But I learned from them.
The story of Shazam, originally known as Captain Marvel, also teaches us the importance of teamwork. When Billy was alone, he could not search for his biological mother. But his family helped him to do. What we learn here is that we are not experts in all things. Taking help and working as a team is the right thing to do. This is not the only lesson to learn from Shazam. Avengers, Justice League, and other groups are telling us the same.
